28th International QUENCH-Workshop

As usual, recent experimental and modeling results on reflood, high-temperature materials oxidation and interactions, and related problems will be presented and discussed. One session will address modeling and code applications for integral QUENCH testing. As presented and discussed in the last meeting, the two most important issues for the QUENCH team currently are 1) ATF cladding materials and 2) the behavior of Zry cladding tubes during long-term interim storage of fuel assemblies with the focus on the system Zr-H. Therefore, you are especially encouraged to contribute to these topics.
