QUENCH Programme

IAEA Grant

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has limited funds at its disposal to help meet the costs of attendance at the Workshop by selected specialists from member states eligible to receive technical assistance under the IAEA's technical co-operation programme.

Generally, not more than one grant will be awarded to any one country.

If organisations wish to apply for a grant on behalf of one of their specialists, they should address specific requests to Mr Mikhail Veshchunov of the IAEA to this effect. Organisations should ensure that applications for grants are:

  • submitted by August 15, 2019;
  • accompanied by a duly completed and signed grant application form giving detailed information on the scientific qualifications of the candidate signed and stamped by the head of the applicant's organisation.
  • accompanied by an abstract of presentation to be accepted by the organizers.

Applications which do not comply with the above conditions cannot be considered.

The grants awarded will be in the form of a lump sum, usually covering part of the cost of attendance.
